Forty-six year old Christian happily negotiating the world with a wife and three daughters
Quiet Boxing Day. Brunch. Brief venture to @MaidenheadShops. Outlaws. Other relations. Drive to see floods. Tea at Mum's. Home.

After a relatively quiet Boxing Day, we ended up at mum’s house for tea. She had brought some children’s crackers with animal finger puppets in, which the younger members of the family particularly enjoyed.
We had an excellent Christmas with lunch at home and tea at my sister’s house.
The girls enjoyed their various presents.
Below are some photos of the day, including a handful from Christmas Eve.
Wet Christmas. Final presents delivered and collected in the rain. Coloured fairy lights reflected in puddles on the pavements.

Chill, still Christmas afternoon. Streets deserted. Houses full of post-lunch napping. Silent night.

We went along to see Holly’s Christmas performance in her final year at Infants, in which she took the part of one of the Wise Men.
@PhilBray Weren't you one of the ORIGINAL shepherds?

We enjoyed an afternoon visit out to Hughenden Manor to see the house decked up for Christmas in traditional Victorian style.
After we left Hughenden, we ended up popping into Maidenhead for some Christmas shopping and a chance for the girls to see Father Christmas in his sleigh.
