A Few Photos – 28th May 2012

Inspired into dipping my toe back into photography again with this shot, I’ve decided to set up a new Photo Blog, imaginatively entitled ‘A Few Photos‘.

I’ll try to maintain this as regularly as possible – just adding the occasional photo that I’m particularly happy with.

At the moment there are only a couple of shots on there – hopefully this number will increase reasonably quickly.

Thanks for being a part of the journey and I hope you enjoy the photos.

This blog will remain as it is currently – a visual diary.

Evening walk at Cookham – 27th May 2012

On one of the warmest days of the year so far, we decided to have an evening stroll over the moor to the river at Cookham.

I’ll also be adding a couple of other photos onto my photo blog.

All Change – 26th May 2012

Between 2004 and 2010 I used to maintain a photo blog entitled Daily Images.  Sadly, for one reason or another I stopped uploading to it and it is now no longer online.  At some stage I may try and upload a few of my favourite shots from that period.

Yesterday, after 33 years in their old place, Sarah’s parents moved house.  I decided to mark the transition with the first of what I hope will be an occasional foray into the world of photography.

This candle holder had been left in the garden by the previous occupier.  Whilst it doesn’t give an accurate representation of their new house and garden, it does give a flavour of the venue and heat of the day.

May walk to Cookham Dean – 26th May 2012

On one of the hottest days of the year, Rebekah and I made our way up to Cookham Dean and back, on the latest of our monthly walks.
