#thamesswim in Maidenhead – 10th September 2011
We didn’t manage to get down to see David Walliams swimming through Maidenhead for Sport Relief. Fortunately, others on Twitter were more organised than us, including @Maidbloke who live tweeted the whole event:
That was a blistering leg and brings up the 90 mile mark as David arrives at Cookham Bridge. #thamesswim

Right, time for lunch on the banks of the Thames. You can still hear the crowds as Walliams approaches Bray. #thamesswim

@maidbloke fantastic! Turns out given the time David arrived, I would have had time to make it after all! How annoying! Great crowd though

Thank you for the mentions Phil, it was very busy down by the river with perhaps a thousand turning out to see him on part of his amazing journey. A lovely event to be a part of.
